Diwali 2003 Entertainment Programme
Dear Community Members,
We would like to wish you all a Very Happy Diwali and a Prosperous New Year.
We would also like to take this opportunity to cordially invite all our members to our forthcoming Diwali Function, which is to be held on Sunday the 9th of November 2003 at 11.30am. The venue for this year's Diwali programme is:
The Colosseum
Rickmansworth Road
Watford WD1 7JN.
As well as being an afternoon of entertainment, we will also be honouring the elder members of our community, presenting awards to the students of our community, serving a wonderful dinner (either vegetarian or non-vegetarian) and finish off with a raffle draw for some great prizes. At this years Diwali programme we will be having a DJ playing a variety of music.
Please note that if you would like to present a cultural item at this years Diwali Programme, then please apply in writing within seven days of getting this circular.
Tickets for this function are limited to just 500 and therefore will be sold on a first come first served basis. The tickets will only be sold to paid members (i.e. Patrons, Life and Annual members). Members who have not paid their fees should do so before applying for tickets. The prices for this years entertainment programme are being kept at the same price as last years, even though there have been some considerable increases in costs. The ticket prices are £15.00 for adults and children over 12 years and £8.00 for children between 5 to 11 years of age. Children up to the age of 5 years are free of charge but you still have to apply for their FREE tickets. Please note that seating is not guaranteed in respect of these free tickets.

The closing date for receiving applications is 27th October 2003.
In order for friends and family to sit together, we suggest that you book tickets in groups of at least ten so that a table can be allocated. Any bookings of less than10 tickets will be pre allocated a table to makeup a table of ten.
PLEASE NOTE THAT TELEPHONE BOOKINGS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES AND ONCE MADE NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN
Itinerary for Diwali Function
1. Welcome to all our members.
2. Dinner from 12.30 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. (Last serving). (Drinks facility will be available)
3. Acknowledgement of our community elders (Ladies aged 60 and Gents aged 65). Please send details with name, address and date of birth to our Secretary before 27th October 2003.
4. Presentation of awards to our Students.
5. Raffle Draw - Those who wish to Donate prizes for the Raffle, again please get in touch with our Secretary.
6. Music by a top Disc Jockey.
